About WebStuff Inc.

A small team writing practical website and SEO guidance for the businesses that need it most.

Small team collaborating at a desk

Who We Are

WebStuff Inc. is a small group of people who have spent years building websites and working on search visibility for local service businesses. Plumbers, HVAC companies, auto repair shops, electricians, landscapers. The kinds of businesses where the phone ringing is what matters.

We got tired of watching small business owners get sold on overpriced services, confusing jargon, and promises that never deliver. So we started writing down what we know in plain language and putting it here for free.

What We Do

This site publishes guides, checklists, and reference material on four topics: website fundamentals, local SEO, industry-specific website advice for service businesses, and the technical side of running a website (hosting, domains, email, speed).

Every guide is written with a specific kind of reader in mind: a business owner or office manager who needs to make good decisions about their web presence but does not have time to become an expert. We keep things short, specific, and honest.

What We Believe

  • No one should need a marketing degree to have a decent website. The basics are not that complicated. Most businesses just need someone to explain them clearly.
  • There are no magic bullets in SEO. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Good local SEO is consistent effort over time, not a secret trick.
  • Your website is a tool, not a trophy. It should bring in customers. If it is not doing that, something needs to change.
  • Honest advice beats sales pitches. We would rather tell you what actually works than tell you what sounds impressive.

Why Free?

Because most of this information should not cost anything. The basics of building a good small business website and showing up in local search are well established. There is no reason to gate it behind a paywall or bury it in a sales funnel.

If you find our guides useful, that is enough. Bookmark the site, share it with another business owner, and put the advice to work.
